Charles Watson:
Charles
Watson has taught drums at Arizona Music Academy in Tempe Arizona since
2003. He has played drums and been a performing professional musician
since age nine. Charles Watson is currently a performing musician and
recording artist with Universal Records Platinum Plus label, has two
performing Arizona based stage bands, is formally trained privately and as
a music major at Mesa Community College, and is proficient on digital drum
sets and virtual drumming software, as well as acoustic drums.
Charles' annual music recitals
for his Tempe drum students are live-performance concerts
featuring bands and other performing groups formed from among Charles' music students
along with solo artist student performances.

musicians and music teachers.
Arizona Music Academy Drum teachers provide instrument
instruction and music lessons customized to meet the individual needs of
each student. All Arizona Music Academy music teachers are registered
with the State of Arizona. To enhance our
drum students' learning experience, we also have annual
recitals and concerts
that give students a chance to perform in front of an audience of family
and friends

set, full kit, and double bass for all genres and styles of music.

notation, transcriptions, and percussion tablature, basic drum beats and
variations, music terminology, rhythm, foot pedal techniques, ride and
other cymbal and hi hat techniques, and learn about the drum sets,
heads, tunings, drum kit hardware and gear, care of the instrument, and
more.
